Monitor Control is a Stream Deck plugin that gives you full hardware control of the Trinnov Nova monitor controller. It connects to your Nova over your local network via WebSocket and provides instant, tactile control of volume, presets, inputs, outputs, and monitoring functions — directly from your Stream Deck.

No. Monitor Control talks to your Nova directly over WebSocket. The Trinnov desktop application does not need to be open.

Open the Stream Deck application, click the Marketplace icon (top right), search for "Monitor Control," and click Install. You can also find it at www.soniccontrolstudios.com/monitor-control.
Drag any Monitor Control action onto a key, click on the button or dial, and enter your Nova's IP address at the bottom (format: 192.168.1.100). This is a global setting — enter it once and every Monitor Control action uses it.
If DHCP is active, your Nova's IP address can change after a power cycle, and the plugin would lose its connection until you re-enter the new address. Setting a static IP means it always connects. See the Nova manual for network configuration.
All of them — Mini, MK.2, XL, Plus, Neo, and Mobile. The four rotary dial actions (Master Vol, Headphones Level, and the two Reference Level dials) require the Stream Deck + hardware encoders.
On Stream Deck +, Monitor Control renders live custom displays on the LCD touchscreen: a teal level bar in normal operation, red with a MUTE label when muted, amber with a DIM label when dimmed, steel blue for headphone level, and gray when headphones are disabled. You can tap the LCD to trigger the dial's press action.
Both — the plugin follows your Nova's display mode automatically. Reference level actions are available in dB (0 to −48 dB) and C-weighted SPL (56 to 90 dBc) versions for calibrated rooms.
When your Nova is in Sum mode, multiple inputs can be active at once, so pressing an Input Source key toggles that input in or out of the active set. In Single mode, pressing a key selects only that input. The plugin reads the current mode from your Nova automatically — no configuration needed.
No. The Input Active (Hold) action activates an input only while the key is held and returns to the previous input on release. When in Sum mode, it will engage the selected input within the Input Active (Hold) button in addition to the already engaged inputs. Enable "Dim While Held" in the button details to automatically engage Dim during talkback.

A green flash means a command was sent successfully; an exclamation point on the Stream Deck means it failed. If the issue persists, restart your Nova, Stream Deck software, or computer. If the problem continues please open a support ticket above.
The four dial actions require a Stream Deck + — they run on its rotary encoders and LCD touchscreen. On other models, use the equivalent button actions instead (Vol Up/Down, Level Set, etc.). If you're on a Stream Deck + and the LCD is blank, make sure the action is assigned to an encoder slot and restart the Stream Deck app.
Wait a few seconds for the initial sync after launch, then press any button to trigger a refresh. If it persists, restart the Stream Deck application.
If you've re-calibrated, adjust your Nova's Volume Display Offset so reference recall values align. Reference level keys show the target value; the dial updates after Nova processes the recall.
The plugin maintains a persistent WebSocket connection and reconnects automatically.
If you have both the Free and Pro versions installed, mixing buttons from each version on the same Stream Deck profile will cause slower reaction times — the two versions don't communicate directly with each other.

ADI Control is a Stream Deck plugin that gives you hands-on hardware control of the RME ADI-2 series. It connects to your ADI-2 over a direct USB connection using class-compliant MIDI (SysEx) and provides instant, tactile control of volume, filters, reference levels, the five-band parametric EQ, bass and treble, crossfeed and the stereo tools — directly from your Stream Deck.
ADI Control ships in two editions, one per unit: ADI Control for the RME ADI-2 Pro FS R, and ADI Control (DAC Edition) for the RME ADI-2 DAC. The two editions differ by only two input-side actions the DAC has no hardware for. Everything else — every dial, every EQ control, every tone and stereo tool — is identical. Install the edition that matches your hardware.
Four things: (1) an RME ADI-2 Pro FS R or ADI-2 DAC; (2) any Stream Deck model (Mini, MK.1 or MK.2, Stream Deck +, Stream Deck XL, Stream Deck + XL, Neo, or Mobile); (3) a computer running Windows 10+ or macOS 10.14+ with Stream Deck software 6.9 or higher; and (4) a USB cable from the ADI-2 to that computer.
No. ADI Control talks to your ADI-2 directly over USB MIDI. No RME desktop application, helper app, or driver on macOS needs to be open — the connection is class-compliant. On Windows, RME’s standard USB driver is used.
Open the Stream Deck application, click the Marketplace icon (top right), search for "ADI Control," and pick the edition that matches your unit. You can also install from a plugin file: quit Stream Deck, double-click the .streamDeckPlugin file, confirm the prompt, and reopen Stream Deck.
Connect the ADI-2 to your computer with USB and launch the Stream Deck application. The plugin scans the available MIDI ports and opens the first one that matches an ADI-2 DAC, Pro, or FS unit — there is no IP address to enter and nothing to pair. Drag an action onto a key, and on connect the plugin requests a full state dump so keys and dials come up showing what the hardware is actually doing.
Install only the edition that matches your hardware. The two editions use separate action identifiers, so they can technically coexist, but every key would then need checking against the right plugin. One unit, one edition.
All of them — Mini, MK.2, XL, Plus, Neo, and Mobile. The dial actions (Main/Phones/IEM Volume, the EQ dials, the Bass/Treble dials, and EQ Band Cycle) require the Stream Deck + rotary encoders and its LCD touchscreen.
On a Stream Deck +, every ADI Control encoder draws its own live display on the LCD touchscreen: a value bar, the current reading, and — for the EQ dials — the selected band and its filter type. Colour tells you which output a dial is holding: deep blue for Ch 1/2, lighter blue for Phones 3/4, and purple for the DAC’s IEM output. You can tap the LCD to trigger the dial’s press action.
Most actions can address one of three outputs — Ch 1/2, Phones 3/4, or IEM (DAC only) — and each target draws in its own colour on the key, so a headphone control is never mistaken for the main bus.
Pick a band with EQ Band Cycle (on a dial or a key), then shape it with the Frequency, Gain, and Q dials — every EQ control pointed at the same channel follows the selection. Band 1 offers Bell, Shelf, Hi-Pass and Lo-Pass; Band 5 offers Bell, Shelf and Lo-Pass; Bands 2–4 are Bell. Selecting a band loads its own type, frequency, gain and Q — nothing carries over.
Volume is shown in dB. Reference-level selection follows your unit’s available ranges, and the plugin mirrors the ADI-2’s state both ways — turn a knob on the front panel and the matching keys and dials update.
DA (and DA HP / DA IEM) filters shape the converter character on the output. The AD Filter sets the A/D converter filter on the analog input and is a Pro-only action — the DAC Edition omits it, since the ADI-2 DAC has no analog input.
The plugin has no MIDI connection. In order: check the USB cable, confirm the unit is powered on, and make sure no other application is holding its MIDI port — a DAW or remote-control utility will take it exclusively. Then quit and reopen the Stream Deck application.
Reconnection is automatic and can take a few seconds after the port reappears. If it doesn’t recover, reconnect the USB cable and give the operating system a moment to re-register the MIDI ports.
States re-sync from the hardware on launch and on reconnect. Check the key is pointed at the channel you expect — a Phones 3/4 mute will not follow the main output — then restart Stream Deck to force a fresh state dump.
Each edition ships only the actions its hardware supports: the AD-side actions come with ADI Control for the Pro FS R, and the IEM actions with the DAC Edition. Install the edition that matches your unit.

The EQ dials follow the Band Cycle selection for their channel. If one dial should stay put, pin it to a fixed band in the Stream Deck software; if all should follow, leave them on the shared selection.
Q range is set by the hardware per band: bands 1–3 reach 9.9, bands 4 and 5 stop at 5.0, and the Bass/Treble shelves run 0.5 to 1.5. The dial clamps to the selected band’s range.
Only one application can hold the ADI-2’s MIDI output at a time. If a DAW or a remote-control utility has the port open, quit it before starting Stream Deck.
